This is Onspot!
The Onspot system is based on a surprisingly simple and highly reliable concept. It consists of a wheel equipped with multiple chains that is lowered and pressed against the drive wheels. When this chain wheel is set in motion, the chains are thrown under the drive wheels to increase traction.
Onspot is only engaged when needed – up to a maximum of 50 km/h – without the vehicle having to stop. It works regardless of whether you are accelerating, braking, or have already lost traction. Once engaged, traction is improved both in forward and reverse driving.
Onspot can be conveniently turned on and off with the press of a button from the dashboard. It is a seamless and omnipresent solution to avoid delays due to slippery roads.
